Recap: 2026 Texas Association of Campground Owners

This was Zion’s first time exhibiting and getting face-to-face time with the amazing individuals in the outdoor hospitality industry. The Texas Association of Campground Owners (TACO) represents over 400 RV parks in the great state of Texas and was formed in 1972. Each year, TACO puts on one of the largest campground owner meetings in the southwest! This show brings together park operators for networking, education, and innovative conversations about how the industry is evolving, and having a little fun. With a happy hour and a cowboy casino night, everyone had a chance to play a few hands and connect with other operators and vendors.

From Booth Talks to Better Bookings

On the show floor at the Zion booth, we had Quinten White, BusinessDevelopment Rep, and Josh Gracia, CEO and owner of Rev7 and REVUE, our digital marketing and reputation management partner. Visiting with our team gave operators a chance to learn about our various management support solutions. Zion offers a suite of services, taking the bulk of operations off your plate or acting as an overflow support during peak seasons. We integrate into your park operations to provide exceptional guest experiences, increase brand visibility, manage your reputation, and even protect your RV park with general liability and property insurance.

Reservation Support When It Matters Most

Securing new reservations is a campground’s driving operational force. According to the OHI Industry Outlook Report 2026, 83% of reported parks are individual/independently owned small

businesses (family-owned enterprise). These business owners know better than others the operational strain of keeping up with all the operational needs of running an outdoor hospitality business. To add to operational stresses, campgrounds and RV parks are heavily influenced by seasons.

During these peak seasons, keeping up with incoming calls can be daunting. Staff can’t always tackle all the tasks that come up with running a hospitality business. Ensuring consistent call coverage allows operators to capture more reservations, provide guests with timely information, and stay competitive during high-demand periods. That’s why having reliable call coverage matters. When peak season hits, securing reservations shouldn’t feel like a gamble; it should be a certainty.

Our call answering solution can provide full-time or overflow coverage based on your business needs. We provide live phone support and real-time chat with human agents 6 days a week.

Our dedicated call agents support:

    • Reservation and availability inquiries
    • Campground and RV park amenity questions
    • Stay-related support and general guest questions
    • Policy and pricing information

For park operators choosing to have on-site staff be the first line of contact for guests, our overflow option is popular. We can answer the call when your staff is unavailable or assisting a guest.

Depending on your park needs, we can customize your call handling setup:

    • Scenario 1: Incoming calls first ring at your front desk. If your staff can’t answer within a few rings, the call automatically forwards to our team to ensure no guests are left waiting.
    • Scenario 2: During your business hours, calls go directly to your staff. After hours, or when your team is unavailable, our agents step in to assist tenants and inbound guest inquiries.
    • Scenario 3: Combine the best of both worlds. We can ring your park first during certain hours, then switch the coverage to ring Zion directly when your office closes for the day.
    • Scenario 4: Incoming calls can ring directly to the Zion team to assist the caller. We can customize what needs to be directed to an on-site team member, like an on-site maintenance issue.

This flexibility means your business will have phones covered during hours of operation. Guests stay connected, and opportunities for reservations aren’t missed.

Building a Stronger Digital Presence

Double down on your marketing efforts! Digital marketing and reputation management go hand in hand, and doubling down will maximize your digital presence. With future reach and guest reviews, you are securing future reservations for your park.

From Online Visibility to Occupied Sites

Marketing your business online can be a daunting task, and many don’t know where to put their money. But attracting more guests and securing those reservations is vital.

Website design, search engine optimization, and content marketing are long-term and ongoing strategies for managing your online presence. Your park’s website should be easy to navigate, drive reservations through a simple booking process, be fully responsive, and reflect your campground/RV park’s unique brand and amenities. Ensure your website appears when and where travelers are searching for their next destination through SEO and have informative content highlighting your amenities and sites to see, building trust and brand authority.

Paid search, social media marketing, and retargeting will renew and connect with travelers who might not have organically found your park, advertise promotional rates, and target guests during the off-season to boost reservations.

At Zion, we help with managing and optimizing your digital marketing to help you stay competitive, visible, and guest-focused. Whether you’re preparing for peak season or looking for steady growth year-round, our marketing solutions help you capture more reservations and improve guest engagement across every channel.
