Recap: 2026 Inside Self Storage World Expo

What happens in Vegas doesn’t have to stay in Vegas… at least when it comes to streamlining your self-storage operations! The Inside Self Storage World Expo presents a great opportunity for the self-storage community to make new connections, learn the latest industry news, and connect with vendors and their swag. While ISS is all about industry insights and connecting with operators, it’s also a valuable time for the Zion team to come together. With different perspectives, being together sparks great brainstorming, fresh ideas, and a lot of collaboration. It’s also a chance to have some fun, build stronger relationships, and come back even more aligned in how we serve our clients. And while Vegas may be known for keeping things under wraps, the ideas and strategies we gathered are worth sharing. From table talks to real-world applications, here’s what stood out and how it can apply to your facility.

Reputation Matters: Insights from the Table Talk Discussion

Quinten White, Zion’s Business Development Representative, moderated “Knowing Your Online Reputation and Ways to Keep It Clean”, Table Talk. These rapid-fire conversations are a great way to get personalized time with knowledgeable professionals and fellow operators.

In this discussion, Quinten highlighted:

The role of reviews in facilities’ online visibility

  • Customer reviews impact your search rankings and play a vital role in improving your local rankings on Google. Local results are based on relevance, distance, and prominence (reviews). Facilities are more likely to appear in search results if some of their online focus is geared towards prominence (reviews). Increased reviews and positive ratings can help your local ranking.
Turning traffic into tenants
  • Reviews are one of the first things that individuals look at; these reviews equal trust signals and can influence conversions.
  • Having a high-performing website can maximize those conversions
Maintaining a strong online presence
  • Using reputation management tools is a great way to monitor, review, and automate the review process.

In August of 2025, Zion partnered with Revue, a leading reputation management software company specializing in review automation for self-storage. Powered by Revue, reputation management is made easy, so you can focus on growing your facility.

From Expo Hall Finds to Facility Wins

With a foundation in providing a call answering solution to operators dating back to 2015, Zion has had an exciting three years as Zion Call Management after divesting the Call Answering division from Stroable. In those three years, we have expanded our services so we can better serve facility owners. In the three years as Zion, we have grown to offer a suite of digital marketing services, reputation management, tenant protection, and now provide general liability and insurance.

General Liability and Insurance:

Operating a facility comes with its own set of risks. Zion is appointed with top carriers to offer insurance for your storage facility. Insurance is often a complicated or scary topic that varies from state to state. Zion can help you find the best coverage for your facility, helping you protect your physical assets, reduce operational risk, cover digital and professional exposures, and ensure that claims are paid by reputable carriers. Protect your future today!

Insurance products offered through High Desert Insurance Agency LLC.

Connect with the Zion Team

If you stopped by our booth, you had the chance to meet several members of the Zion team. Quinten White, Business Development Representative, and Devin Meinhardt, Chief Strategy Officer, are available for one-on-one conversations and scheduled strategy sessions. They can dive deeper into operational insights across our call answering, digital marketing, and reputation management services, and help identify which solutions best support your facility’s needs. Connect with our sales team at hello@zioncallmgmt.com or give them a call at 435.216.1414.

Also at the booth, Victor Gonzales, Tenant Protection Director, was answering inquiries about our tenant protection program. Victor Gonzalez has taken pride in helping storage operators understand their risk programs from his days working with Easy Storage Solutions and with Storable. In March 2019, Victor directed the launch of Easy Storage’s tenant protection program, which grew to thousands of locations across the USA! We are thrilled to have him on the Zion Call Management. To learn more about Zion’s Tenant Protection Plans, connect with Victor at Victor@zioncallmgmt.com.

Upcoming Release: AI Agents

AI agents are coming to Zion Call Management! Our team has been hard at work to build a comprehensive AI agent for handling after-hours support, giving your facility 24/7 coverage. With our AI agents, we surpass an AI FAQ. Integrating directly with our FMS partners, the AI agent can go beyond just answering questions and sending texts for the caller to complete more complicated tasks like processing rentals and creating lead notifications. Our AI agents are well-equipped to handle rentals, gate codes, and tenant inquiries effectively, ensuring tenants receive the support they need while reducing missed calls and voicemail backlogs.

AI agents can carry hidden costs that add up quickly. By combining our Call Answering service with our AI agents, you get a smarter, more cost-efficient solution than most standalone after-hours AI vendors. And even if you only need AI agents, we’re still built to be one of the most cost-effective options available.

As we have wrapped up another impactful Inside Self Storage World Expo, this is just the beginning of a busy and exciting year ahead. The momentum will continue straight into the fall tradeshow season. If you didn’t catch us in Vegas, come visit us in person this fall at the TSSA Fall Conference and Expo, The Show, and the SSA Fall Conference & Tradeshow. We’re looking forward to continuing the conversations, sharing what’s next, and seeing everyone again this fall.
